From the acclaimed Theatre Program at the School of the Arts to the joint undergraduate program at Barnard and Columbia Colleges to the doctoral program at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, students benefit from an international, collaborative, and interdisciplinary approach and the University’s location in New York City, a global capital of theatre.
The Theatre Program at the School of the Arts annually presents a season of graduate actor and director productions as well as a festival of new plays by emerging playwrights.
The creative energy of students also flourishes through numerous student-run theatre organizations across the University and across disciplines, including groups at the law, business, and medical schools.
